My Journey In MSU

Not all individuals has an opportunity to study. Education is for free but with the very high rate of poverty in the country, EDUCATION is now a privilege. It is a benefit that is not available for anyone.
It is a big opportunity to study at Mindanao State University – Main Campus at Marawi City, Lanao del Sur. Almost all people would say that. Why? Well, it is a STATE UNIVERSITY, a very well-known school that has many outstanding students, and has the lowest tuition ever in the entire MINDANAO! Wait there’s more, when you get to enter the university and perform well in your academics, you will not pay anymore tuition fee. Your academic status will be tuition privilege and it’s a very big pride. Imagine that? It offers lowest tuition fee and then with your hard work you will not pay anymore tuition fees. It’s like your studying for FREE. WOW so AMAZING!
Let’s take a JOURNEY…
I am a student in Mindanao State University – Main Campus, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur. I am taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Entrepreneurial Marketing. I am now a 4th year student and it is also my 4th year to stay at the university. I came from Triangulo, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte, I am approximately 163 miles away from home.

As a student I did not only STUDY! STUDY! STUDY! I also do FUN.
The university is situated at the mountain peak and the weather is really nice. The wind is so cold and the view is so wonderful. If you want to relax then you can go to places like GOLF COURSE

(with my Surigaonon Roommates: Bb Jeny, Leah, Leizl, Seizy, Ling2x, Che2x and Shane)

Or at MARAWI RESORT HOTEL (we also call it AYALA)

(I’m with Rujet, Jenifer, Tomo Mitch, Mare Arcevie, Wen2x and Harold took the photo)

(This time was my first step in Ayala, with my roommates and neighbors, it was last April 25, 2011)

When exams are done, me and my roommates dine together at JECOs
(Disregard the date on the photo, the camera date was not adjusted, hehehehe J)

It was really fun, wandering around with friends. Having a great time after being exhausted with so many requirements and a very earth-shaking and mind-blowing exams.

When I reach 3rd year, I thought it will be a serious year. Why? Because I became a Vice President in our Batch and I am having two majors (advertising and Product Identification and Evaluation) and that year I work while studying, I am a student Assistant (SA) of a professor.
But it didn’t work that way. My co-majors which is also my friends and we call our group as BOGS Family meaning “Because Of Group Study we became a Family”.
We enjoy the 2013 Intramurals

And we stayed at the grandstand up to 12:00 midnight just to welcome September 1, the MSU Foundation Day. Of course we’re not the only group there. There are many because there will be a fireworks display.

(Hey, Nesly, Jona and Dokie was there also ;)…)

When the morning comes, we hosted the Padian Games
(Now, the date was correct! SEPTEMBER 1, 2013, these were the 3rd Year Entrepreneurial Marketing Students)

Recently in my 4th year stay, I really had a great journey with all the birthday parties being celebrated. On Sir Aldrich birthday we went to Dairy Farm.

(this was Sir Richards idea and I got to step at dairy Farm FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME)
Next to that Birthday was MINE!

I celebrated it at the World Class Room 2, a dream came true to celebrate a birthday at a class room. Because in the Philippine Calendar June 12 is always a HOLIDAY. But these guys made my dream came true.
(BOGS Family, Sir Richard and Sir Peepo and Jema Officers)

After that there are many birthdays came to pass. Sir Nash , then, Jenie Rose, then here comes Lees’ birthday and Sir Richards birthday, He thinks we just chill there in the corner but actually we’re not. Be cover videos of individuals who is close to him and we are pretty sure he will be surprise.
After that, I spend most of my time from Cottage to College of Business Administration. It was just a little part in the area of MSU but I had a great student journey there (well currently having a journey now)

Got to go… I got to enter the room… I’m LATE ;)

...GRACIA here :)
